After watching this i bought this recording in amazon because i just had to watch it again. Seriously the best cast, Ramin is definitely the best phantom in my opinion. So talented, i could watch this over and over and never get bored. Wow. Can we just give appreciation to the choir and orchestra not using a sound track like most musicals. THIS IS EPIC.

To fantasma tis operas thessaloniki. I recorded this and have watched it over and over. I have to say that Michael Crawford"s phantom was mind blowing, other phantoms were good/great but Ramin. Oh my goodness, the emotion/pain in his voice and performance is just a revelation. And Sierra is wonderful, beautiful voice and just as addictive to watch as Ramin. Michael will always have a special place in my heart but Ramin and Sierra are just perfect. ???. To fantasma tis opera. Phantom: chop chop Christine we dont got all day. His voice is so powerful. Ramin is the best Phantom for me, so is Sierra as Christine. Chemistry between them made the best harmony. (my personal bias. Andrew Lloyd Weber. To fantasma tis operas tainia. Man, I remember watching this movie as a kid and rooting for the phantom the whole time. I dont know if its a change of time but, now I actually really loved Christine and Raoul. I forgot all the stuff the phantom had done to her ;locking her in her room, kidnapping,etc. I think Raoul just didnt want her to get kidnapped by a murderer with anger issues which may not of been his fault because of his seculed life but, this time I kind of saw it from raoul perspective. Also, the phantom watched her grown up and was 20+ years older than her and grooming her into becoming his at the age 5 which is kind of crazy to think about. And using her fathers death to control her is just wild. But, its a beautiful film and worth warching again and again.

I"ve seen this twice live (New York and London) but this is my favorite version. I loved their own little twists- when the Phantom"s hands were shaking during The Point of No Return, when Christine was actually crying at the end instead of just kinda sad. I got chills. I think I was 9 or 10 somewhere around there when i first saw this and Moulin Rouge... My sister fell for Moulin Rouge and I fell for Phantom of The Opera. My sister loved the chaotic, dangerous love and I was more of a fan of dark, sensual, hypnotic love. I know Christine didn"t end up with Erik and it broke my heart, still does to this day. I understand what was wrong with Erik almost possessing Christine with music and beautiful words of a dark love. Whereas Raoul was more of cute, childhood love; that he only wanted to protect and cherish Christine.

My favorite, is once she starts the Ahh"s at 3:30 it looks like a force is bringing the sound out of her, as if he"s magicking the sound out of her. I love her. 12:45 Andiamo, tutti! No, it"s finito! Finished! Get my doggy! Bring my doggy! Bye-bye! Bye-bye! See you later, because I"m going now! It is finished! Funniest part of the movie.
